Visit the Palace and Monastery of Stok – the Palace is thesummer residence of the royal family. Onward to Shey – the old summer capital of Ladakh, look around at Tikhsey – also called ‘The small Potala’ and head to Hemis-the largest monastery of Ladakh. These historical places will let you have a peek into ancient Buddhist culture.

 Nubra Valley, also known as The Valley of flowers. It was a significant destination on the Silk Route. Perched at 3000m altitude, it has a fine blend of mountains, deserts and greenery. If you want you can experience a camel safari on the sand dunes. Visit the hot springs in Panamic and the monastery of Diskit, known for its huge statue of Buddha after an adventurous drive across the highest motorable pass in the world, Kardungla (5602m).

Some people call this- The lake most bathed in blue tones. The turquoise tones of this lake make for a peaceful retreat. The colors of the lake can change in a moment. It’s wonderful to watch nature create perfection.
