Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Delhi and transfer to hotel. Drive past British Connaught Place, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House).
Full day sightseeing of Delhi, In Old Delhi, visit the mosque of Jama Masjid and Mughal Red Fort… Wander in Chandni Chowk bazaar to feel the hustle and bustle of the old city. In New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple and Humayun’s Tomb.
Drive to Shekhawati, your first step into Rajasthan. Shekhawati is famous for Havelis (Mansions) built by prosperous merchants form 18th to 20th centuries and richly ornamented with frescoes. Overnight in Mandawa or Nawalgarh.
Drive to Bikaner, once a desert outpost for caravans. Look around Bhandasar and Sandeshwar Jain Temples. Visit 16th Century Junagarh Fort. Also visit to Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke, where rats are worshipped.
Drive to Jaisalmer, the Golden City located in the heart of Thar desert. Wander around Gadi Sagar lake at sunset.
Visit Jaisalmer massive sandstone Fort. Still inhabited, it features a royal palace (Raj Mahal), Jain temples and Laxminath Temple. In city, visit the painted mansions of Patwon Haveli, Salim Singh Haveli and Nathmal Haveli… Afternoon take a trip to Amar Sagar and Lodurva in the outskirts of the city, and visit the cenotaphs of Bada Bagh.
Drive to the ancient town of Osiyan, and visit Jain temples beautifully sculpted and designed. Proceed to Jodhpur and check in to your hotel for 2 nights. Wander in the gardens of Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Jodhpur once was the capital city of the fierce Rathore Rajput clan. Tour its Breathtaking Mehrangarh Fort dominates the “Blue City”, Jaswant Thada Memorial and Chamunda Devi Temple. Stroll around Sardar Bazaar and Clock Tower.
Drive to Ranakpur, a major jain pilgrimage place dedicated to Lord Adinath. Visit Chaumukha Temple built on 1,444 white marble pillars, each decorated with unique carvings. Proceed to Udaipur, Picturesque City nestled in the Aravallis Hills.
Visit Jagdish Temple and the City Palace, a complex of narrow corridors, courtyards and Jarokhas (covered balconies) overlooking Lake Pichola. Take a boat trip. Wander in Saheliyon-ki-Bari garden and attend a Rajasthani dance performance.
Drive to Chittorgarh Fort, vibrant testimony of an era of feodal wars. Proceed to Bundi, a peaceful town with a medieval touch. Visit its impressive Palace which dominates the tiny city, and hike up to Taragarh Fort. Also visit the stepwells of Raniji ki Baori and stroll around the local market.
Departure to the Pink City of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) and the Observatory of Jantar Mantar. Stroll around the lively bazaar of the old city and watch a Bollywood film in Raj Mandir Cinema.
Morning enjoy an elephant ride up Amber Fort. Amber once was the feodal capital of the region, until Maharaja Jai Singh II founded Jaipur in 1727. Around Jaipur, visit Galta Hill and Gorges featuring various temples and water tanks.
Drive to Agra en route visiting the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, once a mughal capital. Reach Agra and visit Red Fort. walk on the bank of Yamuna River and observe Taj Mahal at sunset.
Early morning visit fabulous Taj Mahal at down, It will be the climax of your trip. Then visit the Tomb of Akbar the Great in Sikandra and Drive back to Delhi and spend the evening in city. Later your driver will drop you at the International Airport to board your flight back.
