Detailed Itinerary
Enjoy a free day in Delhi for some local sightseeing. After dinner transfer to Delhi Railway Station to Dharamsala.
Reach Pathankot Station and head to Dharamsala (1,460 m / 4,780 ft). Motorbikes will be handed over to you and start your ride to McLeod Ganj, home to the Dalaï Lama and Tibetan Refugees.
Leave Kangra Valley and drive across lush green tea estates. Reach Mandi near Beas River (elevation : 1,045 m / 3,425 ft) and admire the city’s numerous temples.
Ride to Manali (2,050 m / 6,725 ft) through the scenic and green Kullu Valley. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple built in 1553 and Gadhan Tchekchokling Buddhist monastery to admire the Buddhist simplicity. Stroll around Vaashisht Village and enjoy some leisurely time.
Ride your bike along the scenic yet perilous road, towards Jalori Pass. Today you will camp in Sojha, a few kilometers before reaching the pass.
Cross Jalori Pass (elevation 3,120 m / 10,235 ft) located on a crest of Rampur Valley. Proceed to Shimla, a summer capital of the British. Visit some temples and Christ Church.
Ride towards the foothills of Shimla. Stay in Chandigarh, a city designed by modern architect Le Corbusier. You can stroll through the modern markets of the city and experience a cosmopolitan culture.
Ride to Rishikesh, where Ganges River leaves the Himalayan slopes to enter the Gangetic plains. Be set to camp on a sand beach and relish a quiet night by the azure blue waters of the ganges.
Undertake a rafting session in the rapids of Ganges River, an exhilarating experience. You can take the afternoon to explore Haridwar and Rishikesh.
Drive along the Ganges up to Deoprayag, a charming village at the confluence of two rivers : the light blue Bhagwati and dark Alaknanda. Now move along the Alaknanda river to Srinagar.
Enter the Kumaon Region. Start your day at Ranikhet that offers splendid views of Nanda Devi peak (7,818 m / 25,643 ft). Discover Jhoola Devi Temple, a beautiful hill temple in the Kumaon region.
Start your bike ride to Corbett National Park, home to various species (including tigers, elephant and birds). You can relish some great scenic landscapes.
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Corbett Park and scout around for some wildlife. Spend the afternoon resting or exploring further on the surrounding villages by bike. You could also indulge in a stroll near the river. End of the bike tour !
Transfer to Delhi by private vehicle with a driver. Spend the evening in Delhi and then head to the Airport for homeward destination.
