Detailed Itinerary
After arrival at the Delhi airport, check into the hotel.
Embark on a city tour of Delhi. Spend the day visiting the Birla Mandir, Qutub Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Red Fort, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, and the President’s Residence. Go to the Red Fort to watch the impressive light and sound show.
Fly down to Udaipur. Spend the day at leisure, mingling with the locals, eating authentic Rajasthan food andindulge in local shopping.
Start the city tour of Udaipur with a trip to the City Palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Folk Art Museum and Jagdish Temple. In the afternoon go to the Monsoon Palace situated on the hill and watch the magnificence of the city.
In the evening go to the City Palace located on the banks of Lake Pichola and enjoy the boat ride at the lake.
Drive to the holy city of Pushkar and on the way stop by at Ajmer. Head to the Dargah of the great Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, a revered spot for people from all faiths and sects.
After the visit to Dargah, head to Pushkar, one of the most sacred Hindu towns in India. Attend the prayer ceremony at the Brahma temple.
Head towards Jaipur by road and explore major tourist attractions of the city including the Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Central Museum and Birla Mandir. Spend the evening at leisure.
Star the day with an excursion to the Amber Fort, with an exciting joy ride on an elephant. Spend the afternoon visiting the City Palace, the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal.
Head towards Agra and begin you sightseeing with a tour of Agra. Go to the Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb and Taj Mahal- all classic beauties.
The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan made the Taj Mahal in the found of memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Also visit the other tourist attractions like the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb and the Birbal Bhawan.
Head towards Gwalior. Start your trip with a visit to the major tourist attractions of Gwalior covering Gwalior fort, Sas-Bahu temples and the Archaeological Museum. Retire for the night in the hotel.
On the 10th day of the tour, drive straight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, proceed on a guided tour to Khajuraho. Start driving towards the group of famous Chandela dynasty temples.
These temples are world-renowned for their spectacular erotic sculptures and carvings.
The Western Group of temples that are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu includes the Kandariya Mahadeo temple, the Matangesvara temple, the Lakshmana temple, and the Varaha Temple. Spend the night at the hotel.
Next morning after breakfast, leave for Orchha.After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Orchha like the Jehangiri Mahal, the Raj Mahal and the Laxminarayan temple, famous for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. In the evening, board a train to Delhi and stay overnight at a hotel.
Leave for Amritsar in the morning and start your excursion to Tarn Taran, built in memory of Guru Arjun Dev. After that drive to Gobindwal and then to Hazoor Sahib to visit the Samadhi of the second Sikh guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji.
Today, start your day with a trip to Jallianwala bagh, a historic site in the fight for independence. After that proceed to Gurudwara Baba Bakala.In the evening visit Wagah Border to watch the soul stirring, Flag Retreat / Changing of Guard Ceremony.
Take a train to Delhi and then get transferred to Delhi airport to proceed for your onward destination.
