Delhi – Jaipur – Agra – Jhansi – Khajuraho – Varanasi – Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Airport where you will be met by our representative who’ll escort you to the hotel. In the evening you can take some time out to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.
After breakfast, head to Jaipur. Start your visit with the City Palace. The palace is renowned for its sprawling gardens and beautiful courtyards symbolising the rich Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Spend the rest of the day exploring the other major tourist attractions of Jaipur including the Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Central Museum, Royal Observatory and Birla Mandir. Relax in the evening or venture out on your own to see the colourful night life of Jaipur.
Head out for Agra by road and enroute stop at Fathepur Sikri and explore Salim Chisti’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal. Round up the day with a visit to the Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb that offers visitors interesting insight into Mughal architecture. Also, go and see another architectural wonder- The Red Fort, and relive Mughal royalty.
Head to Jhansi and start the sightseeing with the Jhansi Fort and The Government Museum. The museum has a fine display of weapons, statues and dresses used during the Chandela dynasty. It also has a picture gallery of the Gupta period. After visiting Jhansi, head out for Khajuraho.
Take a boat ride in the holy river Ganges as you visit the bathing ghats. Pay homage to the ancient Stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum. After lunch, head out for a city tour of Varanasi covering Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and the Alamgir temple. In the evening you can either visit the Banaras Hindu University, which houses the Art Gallery or the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb.
