Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan gets its name the “Pink City” from the color of its palaces, havelis and forts that are built in pink sandstone. Surrounded by steep hills on three sides, the entire city gives the feeling of a walled enclosure, guarded by seven gates. Visit all the palaces in the city and get immersed in the history of this enthralling city. Visit the local markets to enjoy the vibrancy and flamboyancy of the colourful state of Rajasthan.
Climb up the Amber Fort on the back of an elephant to feel the aura of the bygone era. You must also visit the temple dedicated to the goddess Kali and the other royal buildings.
